I wouldn't worry too much. I'll be on holiday for the Thursday and Friday (I always take regatta off like most other locals). The only drawback is that you'll have to do the regatta thing (it's unavoidable) but it's good fun to cheer the rowers on, to go on the funfair rides and to watch the waiters barrel rolling and trolley races. The kids get to do crab fishing and stuff. It's better with more people as you can switch around how you deal with the kids (more hands) and the kids like the company. There's loads of fireworks and air displays and stuff.

I'm glad your dropping by the previous week so you can see it all a little more normal though!

cool.. we're not really the big crowds type actually but I could imagine Finn loving it and sharing parental duties among many hands makes an awful lot of sense..

are the Spanish family still there?
