Abortion is a hugely complicated subject that I don't believe works well with blanket statments like yours. Where does a child become viable?  Where do we draw the line. To go ridiculously to the other extreme: Is contraception murder (preventing a life that was destined to be)? What about a refusal to have sex (there is a line for the bar!)? Are we then to take legal action against women who miscarry? Is that involuntary manslaughter?

I don't think you'll find many people who would say that abortion is a good thing to do or take lightly. But you won't win much support from people like me w/ a blanket statement of Abortion=Murder.
