GREAT idea for a theme! i love the less obvious theme topics, though all allow for personal interpretation when we post photos to this thread. for me, this will be both quite personal and not so obvious to the viewers. so, just know what i post this month, probably mostly repeats, is purely symbolic to me. you can interpret what you want, as is what i like about photography.

Thanks very much to katzendogs for his (hurricane-disrupted) theme, over 300 post on "Orange". Thanks also to everyone who posted photos and took the time to comment. Jay has nominated manbirdexperiment to choose the theme for October, which is Koyaanisqatsi.

Rob has thankfully given us some helpful guidelines! In the Hopi language, the word Koyaanisqatsi means 'crazy life, life in turmoil, life out of balance, life disintegrating, a state of life that calls for another way of living'. (The Small Print! Photographs should be taken by yourself. Please do use your existing shots that you think are relevant but don't forget to try and get out taking some new photographs specifically for this theme. The whole idea behind this particular photographic forum is to try and get us all thinking about the photos we are taking, trying to improve our techniques and learning from others.
