if you like Kate Bush you might want to listen to Kate Miller-Heidke. She is a classically trained opera singer who, along with her husband, Keir Nuttall, writes her own material. Itâs not standard pop, often quite political such as her performance of Zero Gravity at Eurovision 2019 which was about her experience of post-natal depression. Check it out. Also her TED performances of Humiliation; Sarah; Youâve underestimated me, dude; and the wonderful hilarious The Facebook Song.

Comfort food, as sad as it is.
Just listen to how Richard arranges those vocals, especially at the end. He was like Harrison being overshadowed by McCartney/Lennon. Great in his own way but he had that sister .

Idgy Vaughn, 'Origin Story'. She's a great songwriter - a little red-headed slip of a woman. Saw her a few years ago at a Paramount Theater event. Songs like 'Dragging the River' and 'Truckstop Waitress', ain't exactly feel-good material, but well written and executed. Solid backing performers too, a who's who of Austin including several Grammy winners: Cindy Cashdollar, Redd Volkaert, Earl Poole Ball, Ruthie Foster... c.

M DUNG BABY! Mike died a few years ago, in relative obscurity. But he was a DJ comparable to Wolfman Jack. Eccentric, engaged, always - ALWAYS - entertaining. He knew his stuff, and I really miss him.

I totally dig the love for the Guess Who but a jammed packed concert in
July 2020 frequented mostly by older people ? Tad early, no?
Not when I bought the tickets. I figure it'll be cancelled, but Burton's doing some fantastic intimate evening shows on FB. Strong recommendation!
