p.s. also, Tim—the lovable and adorable orange tabby at the shelter where I volunteer—got adopted tonight. He is sleeping in a real home, now. I will miss holding him and petting him and hearing him purr every week...but am so happy for him.

It's the second day of November and The Cubs are gonna play baseball tonight.

I love my 2015 Volt - except the center console failed on the way home from the dealer in Nov 2014. I figured it was my fault. But, two years later, it still intermittently goes black for hours, days at a time so I can't control the climate, radio, or see the backup camera.
Fortunately, I wrote an email (saved it) and got it looked at within the first month - and have saved those records.

Two years later, they've replaced the software, the screen, the whole unit, the cabling - and it's still not working.

So, I engaged the Lemon Law. And today I got a nice call that they'll give me the whole MSRP back minus 1700 miles driven/120,000 = 1.4%, to account for me using it before I complained.
I love the 2017 Volt, and so do reviewers, so I'll just apply it to a replacement.

Gotta admit, there's always two voices in my head about these things: "You deserve this. The rules say you should get what you deserve." and "Someone, somewhere, will screw you over. Don't expect anything."
That first voice is the child believing that good things could happen, and the second is the adult with experience.

Happy that it worked out right for once.
