Hey, what can I get for a Peavey T-60 ... I think it's their first six string (rather than bass) I have an old Alverez, too.
Ah, never mind. They are good friends of mine. I couldn't sell 'em.
(edit - but really. times are hard. I'd sell the electric. any idea what it would be worth? Ash body, maple neck, clear finish, humbucker pickups)

Someone quoted Billy Gibbons (guitarist for ZZ Top) as saying: I can't believe we've been doing this for forty years - and still playing the same three chords!

I checekd out an Ibanez (AG95) today and it had a little bit, between midway and the nut, on the lower strings. (It also had lower gauge strings than I would put on it) That's beautiful!

If it's new they should set it up for you for free if you ask.

I googled and there's a shitload of videos on it, I didn't check any of them out though. If it's used it could be anything from the above , to worn frets( you have to have them leveled by a luthier type who will file them, don't try it at home) to a bad nut or bridge or some other stuff that escapes me right now. It's new. 'Still not sure I'm going to get it. I should get a better computer...

Jeez, calm down, man. I've been grappling with the capo tuning thing for years and haven't found a solution yet, although I have found a capo that seems to not be as bad as most. I forget the name but most guitar shops carry them - it's the brass ones that clip on sort of backwards on the neck. I can't see close-up for shit but it looks like "SHUBB" etched on one side of it.
I hate tuning - especially my 12-string. By the time I get the low strings tuned the high strings our out again! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr......
Ha! I'm just giving you the gears. I just have to admire real guitarists from afar — hence the selling MB's soul venture I launched recently...
