Our Calculus teacher was of the Cool Teacher type:  wore an army jacket and sometimes a flowered baseball shirt.  Good ol' baseball shirts.  Who remembers baseball shirts?  Those were the days.   The seventies.   The baby boom generation first cohort had pioneered the way and we of the second cohort picked our way through the rubble.

One day in January our Calc teacher didn't show up, and we were informed that he wouldn't for the rest of the semester.  Some sort of psychological problem or other.   A couple years later he was found dead.  Wow.  Those were the days.

Lovely hi-fi components, though, with discrete components you could actually replace.  Keeps the SX-636 alive.
