She is a good girl.... jajaja
A great  artist influenced by a great artist
I understand what everyone is saying, but I absolutely adore Eddie and his wife, they are great people and his music always has a special place in my life. I remember in high school in the early 90's in Southern CA, I'd come home and tell my dad,"OH PAPA! I saw the HOTTEST guy today!" and he'd say, "As hot as Eddie Vedder?" and of course the guy wasn't... ;D My papa was Persian and Turkish so he had to listen to every song by Pearl Jam and Temple of the Dog with me while I swooned and said how wonderful he was...  Such a patient and amazing dad I had!!!

This song would be funny if it weren't so embarrassing.
I do like this but my goodness there's a lot of TP in there, on reflection maybe that's not a bad.
Meh..? Pretty vanilla for such a great artist.
Eddie Vedder and the Heartbreakers
I think it is kind of cool that he is channeling Tom Petty here.
Definitely hearing Tom Petty here, but also the Wallflowers a bit, eh?

Eddie Vedder and the Heartbreakers for sure.

I was going to say The War on Eddies but hearing the chorus, I think I'm going with you on this!

This does sound a lot like Tom Petty, doesn't it?
Oh, Eddie. It's good you're still trying. But, well, this ain't it.
Yikes.  Cringeworthy.
Eddie Vedder and the Heartbreakers for sure.

I'm sure how I feel about this.... rather bad...
People don't be a bunch of pedantic nuts.
And yes something old fashioned Eddie but a new windwave.
I love that this was played after Tom Petty's 'Wildflowers', it kind of goes together pretty well! Not to mention that those couple of notes from 'he took the long way' are the same as in the beginning of Tom Petty's 'Free Falling'.

New Eddie Vedder? Like it..
