A new offering in the spirit of a 90's vintage. I'm hearing Pixies with hints of Hole and Belly. Pairs well with gummies.
More than a bit of Pixies here. Like it!

Honestly, I have to skip the entire track simply because the name annoys me.
Ahh, and they are having such fun with that bandname, which actually came from a game of trying bandnames based on emojis during which the splash and a leg came up as a pair; 'It kinda stuck after that' the band has explained more than once. And of course these words have 'silly joke' written all over them (ever opinionated on Pearl Jam much?). Next they did not hesitate to bring it across as something real: a type of slang Isle of Wight people use for daytrippers coming to the island (and people actually buying into that story).
And then, aside form the bands intentions and jokes, there is the strange phenomenon of people actually being put off by a wet leg or wet legs, by the term itself, which seems to me not an issue of the band but of those bugged by it.
What do you think of when you read or hear those words?? I am really curious ...
PS FYI, there is also, I see now, an actual dictionary entry for 'wet leg', which is defined as 'a self-pitying person'.

The fact that the name makes you squirm is kind of the point, you know? Makes me kinda go "ew," too - and I love them for it.

Okay, I can dig this tune, but is this the worst band name since Butthole Surfers?

one of the silliest band names I've heard. And as an old feller it happens to me too often

I kinda like it. The lyrics, though, make me glad that Modern English didn’t sing “I liquidize”.
