Having given this a listen several times, I can say if I never hear this ever again I'd be ok with that. Really disposable.
Said it before. I'll listen a bit to stay a bit abreast and be hip and always open minded. But at the end of the track and of the day, I say -- meh. Or, worse. Nah.
If I ever figure out why so much of what she and her brother poor out grabs me by the heart, I will shout it out right here. Given my usual tastes in music it is a very weeeeiiiiiiiiird and yet very real fenomenon

Love this girl's story and talent. The music? Well, not so much. 
Age has nothing to do with it. I’m 60 and she’s an amazing talent
I think she's the Dylan of her era. Those of us not in her generation have a hard time appreciating her talent, yet those of her generations and the various awards committees feel she is a unique, important artist that speaks for her generation.
I dunno. I don't mind her music, it just doesn't do much for me. It seems there's always drama involved with the lyrics. Bob was pretty funny sometimes... and those were some of my fav songs of his. Maybe Billie is too... I just haven't heard that.

I wonder how many of the haters are reacting more to the name Billie Eilish than to the songs. That is if they heard it without any knowledge of who did it how they would react.? I suspect many just don't like the idea of Billie more than they don't like the music. In a blind listening it doesn't seem that different from many other things on RP.

I am an old fart now at 56, and I cannot get enough of this artist. Although I cant seem to remember how to pronounce her last name.
I get the scoffing about Billie. It's not easy being older, accepting newness. My teenage girls adore her, and for me, she's a breath of fresh, light, whimsical air compared to rap. For that alone, I'm grateful for her music. It's melodic, heartfelt and it has a style that resonates with time and attention. Don't stop Billie. And thanks RP for playing her.

I recently watched a Youtube of her and her brother perform on NPRs recent Tiny Desk series. Wow, she has sooo much control over her voice it's scary. Scary good!

I agree with many others that there is some real talent underlying these works, making me want to root for her and hear more. That said, that synthesizer thingee I've heard in all her work so far will sound so dated and yesterday in a few years, boxing her into the group of artists long forgotten for being one trick ponies. She'll have to reinvent herself to maintain a career. And she might be good enough to do it, as she gains confidence.

A talent the whole family can agree on. From this 50-something white man, to my 40-something Puerto Rican wife and lastly our 15 year old and 12 year old girls. As Bill said, you have to respect her talent but most importantly, her refusal to be sexualized by the recording industry. A real role model for my daughters.

I don't get the hype either. I mean, it's interesting and I kind of like it, but I really don't think I could tolerate listening to a whole album full of this cutesy whispery stuff.

I think I've gone w/ a 6 on the few tunes we've heard here, including this one, which I'll go +1 to because Billie's middle name is "Pirate"...that's gotta be worth at least 1 rating point....Long Live RP!!
