Thanks to RadioParadise I've been exposed to this great talent along with Dead Can Dance. Three times I purchased tickets to their combined US tour and three times they had to cancel the tour due to Covid. At least there's still RadioParadise to present them to us.

I first heard the instrumental beginning of this song played for the opening credits on the Canadian detective series, "Cardinal" - haunting and captivating (the song that is).
To this day, it is the only series I've ever recorded and watched where I let the credits play through completely - every single time, just so I could hear the music.  And I've included it on every playlist, I've made since I found out who the artist was.  

You have probably already guessed the number rating I gave it.

As I and others have remarked before, Bill is a Master of the segue.
However, the last chorus of this beautiful song got stepped on by the opening bar of the following song, (Peter Gabriel's "Burn You Up, Burn You Down)."
I really hope this was a mistake, to be edited out of the playlist before it plays again!
A few months ago, I actually heard Bill talking over the opening notes to a song. I had a little flashback to traumatic times with AM radio,circa 1970...
I have not heard that happen again, for which I am thankful.

It's so rare to hear any work of art described as "heart-meltingly beautiful and poignant" these days, but it certainly seems appropriate here!
