My first time hearing this. I have only one vinyl album of hers from college and I've apparently been missing out. This is beautiful.

Nice. But just an FYI here from a long-time JA fan. There are maybe 5 better songs on this CD. "Everyday Boy" is mundane compared to Merchant of Love, Shapes and Sizes, Back on the Road, Lost the Love, Would You Like to Dance.
Just saying.

This song is just awesome - maybe it's the strings, or the words, or the tempo.... Maybe it's a combination of all of that, plus her strong, confident voice. She worked hard to get where she is, and when I grow up, I wanna be her.

Joan is still touring, and still excellent, she held the audience in the palm of her hand at Bristol. The BBC recorded the concert, it might be available still?

I've been a fan of her music since the 70's and I've never heard anything from this album before, I'm giving this one an 8.

joan has one of the most original female singer´s voices, ever, and the music is simply terrific!
