I don't usually like Alanis, but I like this. Except for the way she slurs her words. Her enunciation is on a par with Elton John's.

Arguably, wunderkind has entered English as a word in its own right - with an English, not a German, pronunciation. Much how we butcher various French and Latin loan words, among many others. But, as I've said before, I'm a dirty descriptivist :o).

You know, I really like old Al. I mean every ounce of reason says that I should hate her, but I don't. I own her 1st 3 albums, I even return to the latter two every 3-4 months and have a listen and I feel a sense of comfort and ease with the sound she makes. Funny...! This song though? I've never heard this before, but it's decent. I'll give it a five for now. Are people rating it low because they really think it sucks or is it just automatic with Alanis? EDIT It's actually got a pretty good rhythm. I shall bump it to a six.
