Do you see
The reasons why
There's very little time to fly
Find a garden
That's green all year
And you might not have to hear
The sound the city is calling
It's just around the corner
The sound the city is calling

Well, if you see
And if you know
And if you've got a place to go
Then find your friends
And take them along
And help us out to sing this song
Oh, love for everyone
It's just around the corner
Love for everyone

Do you see
A reason why
There's very little time to fly
Find a garden
That's green all year
And you might not have to hear
The sound the city is calling
It's just around the corner
The sound the city is calling

It's just around the corner
It's just around the corner

Great to hear Spirit's high quality rock on a sunny cold March afternoon!!!  : )
Sound City
Black Keys' "Gold on the Ceiling" just triggered in my head during this one.  Weird.

love Spirit
I got to chat a with Ed Cassidy at a diner in Arroyo Grande, CA.
He told me a story how he got started as a drummer. He's a very cool guy, who after all these years wears all black.
Oh yeah!
Thanks!{#Bananajam}

I so prefer Dr. Sardonicus.  Their a cappella on this is less than average.  Let's face it, " I Got a Line On You" was their high water mark.

Mr. Skin.  Horns.

Hey Bill, how 'bout "Ground Hog Day" on February 2nd? A Clear choice.{#Sunny}

                Need I say more?
Imagine this singer trying out for American Idol?      There is nothing polished or technically proficient about his voice.   It is not a very good voice, actually.   But it is honest and therefore enjoyable to me

AHHHH Yes, Randy California.  Kapt. Kopter and the Fabulous Twirlybirds.
from ebba forsberg right into spirit - THIS is why i listen to this station!
Is this really old or just retro? Love it, anyway, with that slight touch of Quicksilver Messenger Service echoing through the chords.

Though not one of their stronger tracks, any Spirit is better than no Spirit.

ALWAYS a pleasure to hear Spirit. Thanks Bill.
This funky and catchy and groovey little number made me look, dirty crook, stole your mama's pocket book!
No Spirit number will EVER score less than 9 from me................just DAMN glad I was there!
Albeit in Australia............{#Daisy}

My main man was a huge Spirit fan in college. Now perhaps I can get him to become an RP listener if I can bait him with this.
Never heard this one before...
