Talk to her, that's right
It could mean more than you think
Talk to her, that's right
And you don't have to lose a thing
Leave the boots and saddle outside
You could make her happy again
Laugh about the time
She threw the dinner at you

And in the coconut grove
You can imagine the scene
Another bus unloads
We're still waiting to leave

Talk to her, that's nice
Or you could make a murder begin
Breathe on her, that's right
Once more you will be her friend
She's the only who knows
Where you're from and where you've been
And what remains unsaid
Can leave you hanging in between

I spent a lot of time in the transit lounge
And I wasn't sure where I was going now
The papers I read were all yesterday's news
Not a hundred percent sure what I did with my shoes
Lying on the floor of the transit lounge
There'll be no announcements made
Better make sure you don't sleep too sound
There'll be no announcements made
There'll be no announcements made

And you can dream about the things
You meant to do before you die
Break him out, the one
Who's waiting for his moment to shine
All the stupid things I said
Will haunt you, will linger I guess

And in the coconut grove
You can imagine the scene
Another bus unloads
We're still waiting to leave
The camera flash goes off
See the tallest man alive
And Thai massage his feet
Before his long plane ride

Just saw them on a re-run of Austin City Limits — a great show.
I like this alot!

Does anyone else hear the "talk talk" melody on the female vocal part?

Umm, yeah!.  Where the hell did Elroy come from?

  Jetson's relapse!  His Boy Elroy!

I believe the drummer is Matt Sherrod (ex Beck drummer).  Perhaps your confusing this with Neil's son Elroy who has played backup guitar with them (and whose own band has opened some shows for them as well).

Love it.  Big crowdies fan from way back but hadn't heard anything from this album.  I might have to golook for it.  Does anyone know who is on drums?...i heard it was Hessie's son.

Every time I've heard this I think of Flight of the Conchords and not for the obvious NZ connection

You nailed it.  That's the great thing about listening to Crowded House.  This one is not without flaws, but still a treat.

For those of you who haven't noticed, Excelsior hasn't been around for a few weeks. I don't know if Bill finally gave him the axe or he just plain gave up. Either way, please stop re-posting his comments. Thanks.

The leadin to this sucked me right in!  That Teutonic PA voice....

OK! I just looked and 10cc is completely absent from the playlist! How can that be? I type this as I'm hearing "The Smiths" playing here. I don't hate The Smiths, but IMHO 10cc is far superior and in many ways, more eclectic. Oh well, it's not my radio station. I still love it, though.
Here's 10cc on the playlist https://www.radioparadise.com/content.php?name=Music&func=search&type=artist&search=10

Nice tune. Kinda reminds me of Bloody Tourist by 10cc. Maybe it's the airline travel theme. A big fan of both bands and their mates.

For some reason I keep thinking that I have to catch a plane to Göteborg... Now which gate was it?
The pinacle of pop. Always a treat to hear the work of these mastercraftsmen. Just that delicious little bit different.........
Not bad, but there's several much better songs on the album. Overall it doesn't scale the heights of some of their previous work, but it's good stuff if you like the Finns or CH.
I really like Crowded House but what turned them into an "All That You Can't Leave Behind" b-side?
What - this isn't U2? Hi, Blu!!

That's about where I am, too.
This song takes me back to when air travel was actually fun and something to look forward to. Those days are long gone, that's for sure.
Discotheque!

A gem from my heroes of harmony. Bass player ain't bad either.
A cutie!!!
For some reason I really like the middle section with the woman singing. Sounds like something I've heard before, and it somehow fits into this piece very well IMO.

You will after you've heard it a few times. Same for most of the cuts on this great but not immediately accessible album.

VERY strange music..
I think people love this one or hate it...I love it. my favorite song from the album!
At first listen, it didn't catch me quite right. Maybe next time.

Love the background vocals.
Nice thought, sometimes it can work like that, but sometimes we've just grown too far apart...
leave the boots & saddle outside........LOVE that line!!
Finally! More of the "new" Crowded House.
