I am constantly amazed by the number of bands I've never previously heard of that I now know and love thanks to RP.

You can't follow Riviera Paradise with just anything. This works beautifully.

I don't think this is North African influenced music, at least not pas the intro.
I just hear synthesisers and didgeridoos, and the singing switches between dance-rave and American-Indian.
North African "inspired" may be, but I think it lacks inspiration overall.
I usually like mixing musical styles, but this is just a "meh" from me.
I really like this and all....but had to drop a notch in my rating. Not quite up to the standards of that higher number. IMHO-FWIW

this kind of world music is usually about as classy as you would expect from looking at its album art.
There was a CDROM game titled "Silent Thunder- A-10 Tank Killer II" published by Sierra Games.The sound track sounded so close to this it may be the same group or musicians. Lots of trance light stuff to accompany the usual 30mm depleted uranium chain gun rounds heading down range to destroy the usual enemies.

The ominous (in a good way) start to this promises much (and is thus literally ominous), but the omens fail to bear fruit and it descends into bland electronica, which is a shame. What's with the yipping dog in the background?
