This sounds a lot like the tone, meter and style of Robbie Williams a decade ago. Just lacks the extra edge and more skilled musicians. But nice all the same 7/10.

This is actually a happy song for me, weirdly enough. I quit smoking about this time of year 19 years ago while this song was in heavy rotation on the radio. When I'd hear the line "come January this world won't be the one we once lived on," I'd think "Yes! I won't want cigarettes anymore." Soon after, I started spending my cigarette money on used CDs. It's a much better habit.

I disagree. Dust is a marvellous album, which somehow, needs some attention to realise it. However I agree that 'Nearly Lost You' is their most powerful track ever. Pay some respect to Dust, is worth it!

Nah, I think the Numb Inversion version of Something About Today is pretty lame. And some of the stuff off of their first couple of albums was amateurish. Love the Trees, and I've got EVERYTHING available.

This is another from the "what if" category. I would have loved to see Screaming Trees stay together longer. What if they continued to develop as a band? Great song.
