I don't know why, but I love this guy so much. Sometimes it just resonates.

The song of my divorce.
Me like.
Some of us would love to be bad asses....

8->9 because my 10 yr old caught on to the lyrics and now we can always share this lovely piece. Beautiful swelling lap or pedal Steele. Thanks Bill 🤟
I was just going to comment on the steel guitar! I love the sound of it and its subtle use in this song. It's definitely a pedal steel, but even as a seasoned musician, it seems like such an intimidating instrument. I have a virtual pedal steel in my collection of digital instruments, but one day I hope to acquire a real one and learn how to play it.

I don't even know why, but this touches something in me. 10
C'est la vie, I guess, but I don't know what that means.

Saw Phosphorescent last year at End of the Road fesitival - they were fantastic , every time I hear this I'm back at the Garden Stage, such a great festival.

I assume this is a typical American pronunciation of their English, but to my ears someone stands regurlarly on a cat's tail. And indeed, the music drags, unlistenable!
Awesome contribution, thanks for making the effort. Really uplifting. Way to go!

A decent song that would benefit from being sung by someone else.

Yes a really nice new song here on RP. The best Radio Station in the world! I raised my 7 to an 8 on second listening. I didn´t knew the artist before. So it is a new discovery for me. Thank you very much Alanna and William!

Hadn't yet rated. Corrected that
This song has great balance... hard not to like.
"I don't even like what I like anymore"
This song, and this line especially, really hit home for me. I have had a lot of these same feelings in the wake of the pandemic, and all the depression and anxiety surrounding it and how it has impacted our interpersonal relationships. Yeah didn't mean to get too heavy on ya, but I like this one.

Ironically, I had the same delima

I read an interview with Matthew about this album. He ended it by saying
"I think it might be the best song I’ve ever written" I agree.

Not that this is bad, but I prefer some of his other tracks.
It's funny how some songs don't resonate with some people, and this is one for me. I cannot stand how he ends the line of each chorus line.
We're all different and I have never posted a negative comment and never will; this is purely a comment.
It just puts me off the sing completely and I do the right thing and PSD.
Just saying ☺

Nice vibe...a welcome addition to the RP trope...
Good Stuff! I really like his other tracks on RP.
