They're whisperin', they don't want us to hear
They lower their eyes everytime you come near
These people are stranger
Don't you ever stop
While they change you
The crimes are numerous but they seem distant and vague
Guns that turn to rust feel the...(??)
Not everything changes
And from the bottom to the top
Your still a stranger
Lost myself tryin' to track you down
Though you'll never be found
The circle closes in around and around
I know you leave tonight under cover of dark
Across the old town and escape through the park
I may have built this fire but you provided the spark
You've provided the spark
Lost myself tryin' to track you down
Though you'll never be found
The circle closes in around and around
Lost myself tryin' to track you down
Though you cannot be found

I tried that 2 handed trick you describe while trying to sing - I did not sound like Gomez but it sure was fun until the boss walked in and caught me doing it

I've loved the songs I've heard on RP and the cover art of this album since it came out; reminds me of the weird granite slab gauntlet that must be crossed on the way to summit Long's Peak, and also the weird asymmetrical pyramidal shape is similar to that of Everest!

Unfortunately (for me) he sounds too much like Dave Mathews which means that I need to move on to the next selection.
Everything I ever wanted. Thank you!
Guns that turn to rust feel the... zonin common (?)

Everybody in your hotel room has very good taste. I failed to experience any negitivity while listening to this song.
I dunno, folks. I'm not sure I understand all the negativity here - I kinda like this one. While I don't love this guy's voice, I think the music has a nice feel to it... kinda halfway between Nick Drake and Simon & Garfunkel.
The instrumental break isn`t all that bad (seeking the best in everything tonight).

Did they call it "Lost Track", because "Thrown into a trash can, and set on fire" was too long?
Nice idea...shame that someone apparently rescued it.

Why, is that town full of adenoid sufferers? If you're referring to 'rock' without the capital R then you must have strange criteria for judging singing voices. I've heard worse, but also many, many better, and an adenoidal voice allied to a dull backing leads to narcolepsy. A solid 3 from the Nottingham jury

Gawd. I thought Bill said 'gonads.'

Bill's whining phase...!

Nice!
Lost Plot
Reminds me of Some Say Leland .......maybe Some Say Leland on Speed.

The sad thing for me about Gomez is in 10-15 years time when they are no longer around people will realise what a great band they were

Really? The Amazon listing doesn't indicate that a DVD comes with it. Where did your wife get it? I love Gomez and definitely want this CD. It'd be cool to get the concert DVD too.
(edit) I found this cd/dvd combo through an Amazon vendor, and got it the other day. Like the cd very much, but haven't had a chance to watch the concert dvd yet.
My wife just bought this CD - it came with a concert DVD which alone was worth the price of the CD.

Saw them the other night on "The Tonight Show" doing 'Airstream Driver', they were great.

Im just SO happy to hear something else off this album than that damnable "Airstream Driver", I think I'll do a happy dance!
I am quite happy to be here when songs like these are played.
It tickles my ears.
These guys move out in all directions.
Better than "Airstream Driver"...
New Gomez? Yowsuh!
