And the time is made of golden seeds
Just because I understand doesn't mean that I believe
It gets lonelier than this
Standing in the corner of the decent things we missed

Oh, and the fire wasn't my idea
You were the one who changed the lock
Oh, and the fire wasn't my idea
They tell you you're forgiven, but you're not
Oh, I'll take you down to the sea

You can tell me your philosophy
Just because I understand doesn't mean that I believe
It gets lonelier than this
Standing in your mercy

Oh, and the fire wasn't my idea
You were the one who changed the locks
Oh, and the fire wasn't my idea
They tell you you're forgiven, but you're not
Oh, I'll take you down to the sea
Oh, I'll take you down to the sea

Oh, I'll take you down to the sea
The fire wasn't
Down to the sea
Oh, I'll take you down to the sea
Down to the sea
Oh, I'll take you down to the sea

I kept thinking this was Big Thief every time it came on.
My significant other keeps telling me I should pay more attention to song lyrics - I tend to treat it more as another instrument...

Just the read the lyrics to this lovely ditty.

WTF??

Song is an 8 in my world but reckon I'll just let the words drift over me...
The rhythm, chill quality,  and vocals remind me of Harry Manx’s style.
Been listening to this one a lot lately down under. Love it
Sounds like a Buddy and Julie Miller duet.

Easy "7" on first listen. I nice blend of influences that makes it smooth while still interesting.

I've added one more, enters as an 8. I am digging the groove.
I'm happy with the insertion of new music, you go William.

Oh (the fire wasn't-)
I'll take you down to the sea (down to the sea)
Oh, I'll take you down to the sea (down to the sea)
