I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, "How do you do?"
But they're really saying
"I, I love you"

I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They'll learn much more
Than I'll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
What a wonderful world

What a wonderful world

OMG another Sofi Tukker cover on RP today! Earlier it was Chasing Cars. This one is no better and not really worth the effort on their part of this is all there is to it.
What a positively annoying, unimaginative, and boring cover.

I heartily agree.
The chilled out downbeat is what first caught my attention, then I recognized the lyrics. I went 7+1 on my first listening, and looking forward to hearing again on another chilled out Sunday evening on the shortest day of the year.

If you like this, you might like the DiPap Remix even more, I know I do.
Interesting...from someone who normally doesn't like covers

Despite the musical quality, this sad, downbeat take is not at all what Louis’ original was about. Inverting the whole point of the original makes this a bad cover.

Couldn't agree more.
Autotune has made a trainwreck of this.

There's been a disturbing trend of late, where great songs being covered by singers with "better trained" voices, employing all sorts of tonal gymnastics, but that fall far short of the soulfulness of the originals, leaving the experience shallow and flat.

Yes, and just in general they don't bring anything to it other than it being an exercise of 'use a great song, throw it on the wall to see if it sticks and now we have another track done'.  I don't hear what the positive reviewers are hearing, this is another 'Ho-hum', why is this any good?

Nope.  If it wasn't for the words, I would barely recognize the song.  Don't get me wrong.  I like some of the other covers here.  Not this one.

I totally agree. Not all major-to-minor key covers are created equal. "Mr. Sandman" by SMYL is exceptional imo.

Hooowee what a funky, delightful cover.
Different vibe for sure.
Funkified version...This is a keeper!
ST has been re-working covers in a very nice way.
Yep, like it.
