You are the sunshine of my life
That's why I'll always be around,
You are the apple of my eye,
Forever you'll stay in my heart

I feel like this is the beginning,
Though I've loved you for a million years,
And if I thought our love was ending,
I'd find myself drowning in my own tears

You are the sunshine of my life,
That's why I'll always stay around,
You are the apple of my eye,
Forever you'll stay in my heart

You must have known that I was lonely,
Because you came to my rescue,
And I know that this must be heaven,
How could so much love be inside of you?

You are the sunshine of my life, yeah,
That's why I'll always stay around,
You are the apple of my eye,
Forever you'll stay in my heart

[Background] Love has joined us,
Love has joined us,
Let's think sweet love

Talking Book is a Top 10 all-time for me. Every cut. This guy is my generation's Duke Ellington.
This is my favorite Stevie song!

Having two different vocalists do the opening bars of this song was an ingenious touch.

I just noticed that.

Looks like this was a recent add to the RP mix.  Stevie is so talented, and so varied.
My fave TV show of the 20th Century (Taxi!) utilized this tune in a very touching moment when Jim's dad died.  That has stuck with me all these years, and I've rated this one a 9 for the memory (plus Stevie is surely a Wonder!)

Mine too!
