Playing "My Favourite Mix", shows ths, Bonobo, BUT plays "Fell on black days" from Soundgarden. WEIRD!

That may well be, and yay for waltzes, but this here song is in 4/4 time. Waltzes are in 3/4 (three beats per measure). The waltz-like feel is likely from the eighth-note triplets within each measure. So you have a One-trip-let, Two-trip-let, Three-trip-let, Four-trip-let thing going on in each measure, each triplet beginning on the  downbeat, four beats per measure.

Seems about half the time when i hear an unfamiliar song, and think to myself, "This is really cool!" when i go to check it out, it's Bonobo.
Really making me want an Instrumentals Mix here on RP!
Dedicated to my PBdTM.
Engaging to start, but IMO just a bit long.
Can see the appeal tho.
Goose bumps from the first note. Thank you for playing
Really nice, the horns remind me of These New Puritans as well

why must everything be a waltz on a Friday nite?

I ask you, why?

because a foxtrot or a tango just wouldn't work on a Friday?   Seriously hadn't thought about this being waltz time, but yes!.  (Its Thursday today though 01/04/2024)

Right? Who knew?  And I've been listening to them... I mean, him, Bonobo, for years!. With the RP epiphany though  I got to say, I now  hate this dude. He can play like 25 friggin instruments.
Brilliantly! Taint fair. I had to tap out at the plastic recorder level.  Grrrrr.     Grrr x 25.                    But muchas amigo .  He puts me in a galaxy far, far away.

3/4 time can cover a lot of musical sins.
Very nice. Little “French movie” vibe with some Balkan tone. Lovely.
Just bloody brilliant.
Whenever he tours live he usually has a great bunch of musicians with him, usually inclusding one or two excellent vocalists. At these he himself usually plays bass. Well worth seeing if he comes to your area.

The more I listen to this guy, the more I like his music. Gotta get that album. Thanks B&R
Just bloody brilliant.
Mesmerizing and not a Mesmer is sight!
after Sting's Russians, and then this track, left me pondering humanity.... on the one hand, despotic madness and mindless obiedience and then artistic brilliance.... and I guess it always has been and it will always be the same...

Yeah, it is quite something to see him play all those instruments at once!
this makes me very nervous but not in a good way
All of the emotions. Beautiful.
Very restful track. Like this
I get goose bumps
Cliff music
Over a beach
In the Autumn
Love Bonobo's work.  Like others, I had no idea it's just one person.  WOW.   Reminds me again what little talent I have...
I Like!
great combinations

Only 2 comments for this brilliant song?
I barely can describe the feelings while this plays. Out of speech.
