When the colour go
What colour shades the colour
What colour
White colour ages

In the way we go
I get away with it
I get the kind of

When the colour go
Trashed in a little position
I keep that
I keep that waiting

When you fall in gold
And when I miss that time
I bring my bag

When the colour go
What colour shades a colour
What colour
What colour ages

In the way we go
I get away with it
I get the kind of

When the colour go
Trashed in a little position
I keep that
I keep that waiting

When you fall in gold
And when I miss that time

I hope it's a protein shake, cus they probably need it after this

A lot of people confuse syncopation with odd time signatures.

when the color goes
what color shades a color
what color
white color raging

in the waiting row
I get away with it
I get the kind host

when the color goes
drenched in a new position
I keep up
I keep them waiting

bring the folded ghost
then when I miss that tunnel
I blame my bad luck

when the color goes,
bring nothing

This fits better with what I hear, but is still a bit wacky. Maybe it makes more sense in Swedish?

Hints of Sufjan Stevens - Chicago
Of Monsters and Men (Iceland) followed by Amason's Algen. We're touring Scandinavia today on RP.
While the song was playing I was watching the slideshow, which  usually has images relating to the song.  This song had had the full 4 minutes of moose pictures.  Moose are majestic, and yet still cute, creatures.  Just wondering if there was some other connection.
I'll have whatever the drummer's having.

4/4 but "often in phrases of 7 bars"....

Please elaborate.  Anyone.

For an oversimplified explanation: Most "Western" popular music is in phrases of four or eight bars (or measures).  On a sheet of scored music, the bars are the vertical lines which separate the beats. When a phrase of music has three or seven bars it can create a feeling of tension, as if one lyric or melodic bar is missing or was "skipped".  There are others here who can elaborate in more detail.
Good Tune! I never heard of them before.  Thank You RP!
I look to the Wiki page and I notice that Amanda is aka Idiot Wind. There can't be two, can there?
When I hear the drummer, I think of this guy:

Belero on an accordion.  God help us!  I had to turn it off.
Never heard this band before (November 2021) so thanks a lot to RP for opening yet another door in this musical world

It wasn't one of Darth Vader's finer performances the day they laid down the vocals.
Depends when it plays in your life, ya know?
Something about this song really works for me.  Very nice.
Sounds alot like Hooverphonic especially with the vocals. Decent tune.

Thanks!  Makes perfect sense once you count it out.
Ultravox reloaded

Had the band been named AmaZon instead of AmaSon,  the singer would have one
breast... The Amazon women warriors of mythology had their right breast cut off
so it wouldn't interfere with drawing back the bowstring. Hence the name Amazon,
literally "without a breast"...And now you know the rest of the story...

It's the Sound of Science, man :)
I recommend checking the live KCRW version of this song on youtube. I didn't like the vocals at first, then I watched her sing and fell in love.

Amanda Bergman, also known as Idiot Wind. Really.
Any comments on the rest of the album?

It's the audio equivalent of reaming your ear with your pinky the night after a big frat party when someone puked on you, and pulling out a piece of partly-digested pepperoni. Algae indeed.
So nice to see some RP music from this decade. Gets a little musty in here at times...

Somebody should mash this up with Shearwater's Filaments.

Another excellent drummer. Sandy Nelson started his career in 1959, Buddy Rich effectively in 1937 (however he was a bandleader at age 11, around 1930, and performed in Vaudeville as early as age 18 months, in 1919). Sandy is still with us. : )

And most of the musicians during the BeBop years. Now that we have the audio editing abilities where we can retouch nearly every aspect of a sound, there'll likely be folks in time who will accuse most of the bop musicians as well as folks like Zappa, etc. of recording a track at far less than ludicrous speed, speeding it up then further altering the sped up sound to have the characteristics of the other members and instruments of the combo.
Ha ha ha Mrs Tom. {#Roflol} Hey Billbecca this is Triple Plus Good.

The drums at the beginning kinda sound like Bloc Party... but then there isn't the magic bass lines and the inspired melodies!

Apparently those commenting on the "inhumanly" fast drumming have never heard, or even heard of, Buddy Rich:

I have no idea what the lyrics are about, and the video is confusing, but I'll never get tired of the sound..

After looking at the YouTube video link posted on a previous comment I see the drummer uses both "real" drums and electronic drum pads. That is probably why there is this strange speeded up vibe going on.
She sings so passionate... love it!

Sounds like something from the Roger Whittaker Show to a Ravey Davey drum beat.  Weird.

I agree. I couldn't place exactly why this song was uncomfortable, so I checked the comments about it. You hit it on the head. The drums make my heart palpitate. Not a good thing at 60. Too fast for my old soul. Otherwise, intriguing song.

Sorry, this needs to be deleted from the playlist. Rarely do I have to change RP, but here I go. This is little more than a background track to a melody. Or, to put it differently, its bad.
