it took so long, for me to realize
how strong your heart is
and all this time, my mind was working
in strange ways

looking back on the days, just wanna be free
through the love in your eyes
now i'm staring inside, just wanna be free
through the love in your eyes

sweet tides, pools of love
your eyes are full of...
sweet tides, pools of love
your eyes are full of...

sharp turn, my mind is a blur
slow passage thru the air
looking back on the days
all over your mind, just wanna be free

sweet tides, pools of love
your eyes are full of...
sweet tides, pools of love
your eyes are full of...

it took so long, for me to realize
how strong your heart is
and all this time, my mind was working

Oooh I love Thievery Corporation
Love these guys!!!
Digging the groove of the prominent drums here....
Interesting follow up to Lana Del Rey. Both feature vocals that have a 'boring' feel to them. It works here.
Love this tune.  The Thievery Corporation is awesome!

For everything there is a season.
Just listened to this wonderful song walking out of the hospital after a 13 hour shift.   I don’t know what this song is about…but man, did it ever hit the right chord.  This app and community is an absolute Godsend!

The weakest song on an otherwise excellent album, IMO

If this is the weakest, the rest of the album must be amazing

I thought this was Sigur Ros...

Reminded me a little of KT Tunstall.
The weakest song on an otherwise excellent album, IMO

Usually like Thievery Corp, but can't get past the overpowering bass on this one.  Was it really mixed that way on purpose?

The bass doesn't sound "overpowering" to me; I think the mix sounds just fine.  A lot of their stuff is pretty bass driven anyhow.
Love IT💕
It is a reallly GOOD VIBES.
Since no one is being clear about it, the vocalist: LouLou Ghelichkhani
i'm feeling the energy of this song. This is why I love RP. 🙏

With a little Mazzy Star mixed in for good measure.
Underrated and Powerful song.
Been listening to RP for a few years now and this is the first time I've left a comment. Great track, I just want to say if you like this please(Bill)check out Big by Manchester band New Fast Automatic Daffodils from 1990. And while I'm here I've also wondered if you have come across the Bluetones. A couple of epic tracks on their first Expecting to Fly LP that I think you would like a lot.
Keep up the great work!
Step away from the ludes.
I thought this was Sigur Ros...

Surely one of the trippiest songs of all time!  Their sense of timing and ability to couple it with such explosive drums is truly awesome!

They sound a lot like Coldplay to me
I will now sell 5 copies of the Three EPs by the Beta Band.
I wish I could make a painting that could express the lilt of this song.

Now there's a post with which I do agree.

 I envy you.

Some of their renditions sound too "machinized" to me, but I like this one! {#Cheers}

Really like that. Does anyone know who the vocalist is? Is it Beth Orton?

I'd like it, but that drumming is driving me crazy.

Two thumbs up from the beach-side jury.

"Sweet tides, pools of love, your eyes are full of ... "   Beautiful, hypnotic tune despite the Yoda-speak.

Didn't know about this album - excellent tune!!
Friday afternoon, late summer, slight breeze on the water, little droplets of condensation forming on the cocktail glass sitting on the deck rail, one sip, bliss.....
