They're shouting my name
But I wanna die in this moment
I wanna die
And a thousand people smile
Are smiling at me
But I wanna die in this moment
I wanna die
No way to understand
Why I've become the way I am
When the sky is filled with stars
I find the place inside my heart
Some people can take a blow
They won't ever drop
But I wanna die in this moment
I wanna die
She will tell me she loves me
She won't ever stop
But I wanna die in this moment
I wanna die
A coldness in my soul
And I reach out for her to hold
And then I watch her close her eyes
It's only me that needs to cry
And if I stay with you
Do you believe that I'll come true?
No way to understand
Why I've become the way I am
When the sky is filled with stars
I find the place inside my heart
And then I watch her close her eyes
It's only me that needs to cry
A thousand people yell
They're shouting my name
But I wanna die in this moment
I wanna die

Reminds me of snow patrol, not instrumentation, but in dynamic. very nice.
I never catch lyrics first time around, so if this is a very depressing song, well... i dont catch lyrics the first time around very well :|
I highly recommend the CD. Light pop tunes with perhaps a broader appeal than Porcupine Tree.

Cruithne3753, fred and other British friends,
If I can borrow some jargon from media sociology, you must have gate keepers in the British rock music scene that act as a filter or launching platform for new acts like Porcupine Tree would have been in early 1990s.
Who would those be? Is the 'model' intact? Or is the era of digitalized music breaking down traditional patterns of popular music diffusion in Britain?
Really? I can't see them on Radio 1 now that John Peel's sadly passed on. PT are way, way too sophisto for the clanging dumbed-down McMusic that gets airtime on R1. I gave up listening to that channel ages ago once Peelie died.
PT were in session a couple of times on Mark & Lard's evening show back in the mid 90s, about the time they became a full band.
More recently, SW was interviewed and a couple of tracks played shortly after the release of Fear of a Blank Planet on Bruce Dickinson's Rock Show on BBC 6 Music.

That's pretty funny vit.
I notice that the DJ cuts off the end of the song.

This unit requires The Butterfly Ball And The Grasshopper's Feast by Roger Glover to inject some into its system!

Little dark, I agree. But pair that with a couple of strong cups of coffee and its just about perfect.
All this interest in Steven Wilson?
I understand that he is interested in getting married and having children. Though given his rather strong work ethic, any future spouse should plan on spending a lot of time alone.

Just make all your purchases from a click-through on RP ... and they will notice. The side benefit of RP getting a small piece of the purchase is icing. It also helps the industry recognize stations like RP as a NOT the enemy, but an invaluable channel for sell-through.
Yup, back to noisy chores.
It seems to me really hard to confuse Steve and Aviv's vocals... I haven't heard him at all in this one.
You're right. Steve leads. Aviv comes in on the chorus (if I am once again not mistaken). Must have been confused.

Totally. Thank God it's not a Monday.
