Cool! They made that term up. Google does NOT have a definition for it. ...Works for me! LOL!

Awesome new groove!
I'm at work and need to make a phone call and sound professional, but I'm feeling all intoxicated (in a good way) from this music! I'm hoping I sober up when I press the pause button.
Edit: Successfully sobered up for the phone call and felt the effects when I pressed play again.

If you want to find the best sitar playing in an actual song it's probably by Anoushka Shankar. If you want traditional Indian music, look to Anoushka's father, Ravi or Ali Akbar Khan.
My vote would be for the loop on The Beatles' Tomorrow Never Knows. Norwegian Wood is pretty classic too. But all of history? We've probably never heard the best usage of sitar --that probably exists in non-recorded material.
I got curious too... found this.

Wherever I am in my run, when this comes on, it energizes me. Love to match the recurring three beats with my feet.
Too repetitive for me. Boring. Skip.

It does have more of a ring than occinitrogenated, doesn't it?

Indocarbonatedfunk.
Feels good man!
Feels good man!
The "1, 2, THREE AND FOUR" riff does kind of get old. At least throw in a chorus and a bridge.
IDK? 2nd time I've heard it, maybe it will grow on me.
Will someone please answer that knock at the door!?!

I'm glad a lot of people don't like music I like. Makes it easier for me to see groups I like and in smaller venues.
I always say that I see obscure groups in small venues.

to our western ears, a Beatles song, I'd guess.
I'm liking this though.

That almost sounds derogatory, "... Bill has just picked the best of the album...."
I look at it differently: Bill has taken the time and energy to choose great music thoughtfully and tastefully.
Thanks, Bill
Bought the download as soon as I heard it. As in so many occasions, Bill has just picked the best of the album, but anyway, soo nice all of it.

I was going to say Really Really Happy is also good - but I see he picked that too...
BTW this, oddly enough, is a good running song.

Sweet. What is it about drone strings and pipes? I wonder how a sitar and bagpipe would sound together?

Quite so. Cut down on the big bands like U2, REM and Tom Petty.
How about some Little Feat have not come across them on here in 2 weeks.
How about some Emily Maguire, anything off her first album Stranger Place would be great.

Good start, but I found the base line was just too irritating by the end.
I think an 8 is ok :)

Yeah - Fleetwood Mac meets Ravi Shankar?
Very sweet tune. Thanks Bill for introducing me to this band...second tune from them I like a lot.
Groovy. I like, but not long enough.

Now where was I before I succomed to this trance?
Very nice, sitar nirvana.
What a nifty little track... good production on this one. So many layers that converge nicely, plus the beat both suits the title and makes the whole thing stick.
I'm not much for eastern instruments, but this swallows very easily as an instrumental. Yum.
Blech.
