Life long U2 Fan - since 1983 - and this track grabbed my attention upon release.  The lyrics are just the best.

This song makes more sense when you are familiar with John Lennon's song God. U2's God Part II is a reprise/response to Lennon's denial of everything except Yoko.... I like Lennon's God, but I love U2's God Part II.

It's funny. I'm a huge U2 fan, but I know countless other fans who loathe and despise this track. I've come to accept that I'm probably one of about 2 dozen people in the world who actually think this track is great.

Never been a huge U2 fan, for whatever reason. Most of their stuff just doesn't turn my crank. But this track rocks.
