Do you always trust your first initial feeling
Special knowledge, holds true bears believing
I turned around and the water was closing all around
Like a glove, like the love that had finally, finally found me
Then I knew in the crystalline knowledge of you
Drove me through the mountains
Through the crystal like a clear water fountain
Drove me like a magnet, to the sea, to the sea
To the sea, yeah
How the faces of love change, turning the pages
And I have changed, oh but you, you remain ageless
I turned around and the water was closing all around
Like a glove, like the love that had finally, finally found me
And then I knew in the crystalline knowledge of you
Drove me through the mountains
Through the crystal like a clear water fountain
Drove me like a magnet, to the sea, to the sea
To the sea yeah, to the sea yeah

Still feel the love ❤️ Thanks. William.
Rest In Peace Christine!
Just never gets old...and just gets better!!
Such a beautiful song. Keep em coming
Classic song from an all around excellent album
One of my all time favorite Fleetwood Mac songs! Beautiful!
This came out just as they discovered the wondrous effects of other crystals!

The Buckingham Nicks album from the early 70s has a much better version of this in my opinion. It's still in my album case, sadly covered in dust as I no longer have a functioning turntable.
Yes, I like that version too- it's a little more stripped down. wxdad wrote:
Audio-technica makes a nice one which isn't too pricey. And it has a USB port if you want to convert vinyls to digital.

Love this version too --
both are great but a male voice has more depth somehow.

There's a crackin' version of this on the Buckingham Nicks album but I think this one is a just a little bit better.

Stevie's pulchritude aside, this album has one really good cut that I miss a lot. But somewhat true to internet form, Don't Let Me Down Again and this whole collection is not to be found in many places, including on iTunes. It's a fine track, a typically Buckingham track crossed with a dance tune. I look for it but haven't heard it in years.

I still have the vinyl copy. This was before Stevie fell into the peroxide and came out a blonde
It's too bad she decided to go blonde...she was smokin' hot as a brunette

My favourite album from the days in the 1970s when I looked after my older sister's new house - they had lots of LPs, and this was a gem that I still treasure. Actually, I mean the Buckingham Nicks album from 1973 - but you know what I mean.
my favorite on this LP as someone else wrote, Bliss..I could listen to a much longer outro to the sea yea

Luckily Mick Fleetwood found 'em at Sound City. He needed a new guitarist and offered Lindsay the gig, who said he'd take it, but only if Stevie could join the band too.
Original of this tune on the 1973 "Buckingham / Nicks album - Frozen Love / Long Distant Winner / Crying In The Night Races Are Won, all real standouts. That album is a classic that never got its due rewards. Polydor Records had no clue what they had with that duo.

Holy moly I haven't heard this in ages. I might need to break this record out. It makes me so nostalgic for my teenage years and the feeling of new love...

That fantastic shifting back and forth of the chords, after
"the water was closing all around - like a glove - like love - that had finally, finally found me. Then I knew..."
A friend once got this for me on a whim, right after it came out, based on the shopkeeper's recommendation.
Such an important sound track for those years...

Wow, wonderful, Bill. Memories. This album preceded THE album but had some equally great tunes...
Nice to hear a Mac tune which hasn't been overplayed for 40 years straight...way to go RP, keep those deep cuts comin'.

One of my Mac favorites. Is this really the first time this has been played? Love the keyboard solo at the end.
