It is quite impressive how small, modest income countries like Chile and Uruguay have done so well in getting their populations vaccinated.
Got my first booster a few days ago. I chose Pfizer because the last shot was a Moderna one. I almost did not notice the nurse putting the needle into my arm. After I got the shot, I went for a hike up and down an escarpment. Actually a trudge through snow that was sometimes almost 2 feet deep, which is rare in this semi-arid area. The left shoulder felt a teensy weensy bit sore the first night in bed.
Given I was already infected once (asymptomatic) before getting the vaccine shots, I feel like I have had 4 de facto 'vaccines' so far and will gladly go for another booster shot when the provincial health authority schedules me again.
they have dutifully done everything they were told to do and guess what - positive!
This shows a deep misunderstanding of what's going on. Now look at who is going to the hospital and ICU and morgue. Are they the vaccinated or the ones who aren't?
Immunization doesn't prevent positivity, but severe disease. It readies your defenses for when the bad guy knocks on the door.
Here's a straightforward article that's recent to help explain:
"Compiling data from New York City, Chicago, and Boston, what they found was — given everything we know about immunity and about Omicron — almost hard to believe. In each case, shifting the graphs by 21 days to account for the typical lag between diagnosis and death showed that the number of deaths was now growing almost precisely in line with case growth. In other words, in this data at least, there was been almost no “decoupling” between cases and deaths at all — to this point, in these places, the Omicron wave appeared on a per-case basis just about as deadly as last winter’s surge, when hardly anyone in the country was vaccinated and the virus itself was inherently more virulent than this variant.”
And I was beginning to think that Omicron infections are mild like rubber bullets are mild.
An Aug article...little late with the evidence, no?
What, were you waiting on line to get tested?
Nah, mate - the mutation and failure were being predicted from....I think April 2021?
This is from August yes but gives links to some interesting stuff, not necessarily for someone like you but for the lurkers who don't necessarily post here but have expressed interest (imagine that!).
And here we are Jan 2022- folks all around here triple jabbed up the ying yang, they have dutifully done everything they were told to do and guess what - positive!
Which is interesting as well - some people who have done everything and gotten jabbed and masked and sanitized and done absolutely everything they were told to do, including being very afraid, and who have subsequently tested positive for the 'Vid, are experiencing a sense of shame, as if they have failed and let down the team kinda thing. Don't be ashamed!
So yes it might be from August '20 but time has proved it to be no less relevant now than then.
I won't wait in a queue for testing, that's where the nutjobs in perspex helmets are! No, no!!
I pay and have an appointment and get the test done.
I think I have had eight now.....it's just like schnarfing a fat stripe of decent quality cocaine, without the buzz...you know, you remember.....back in the day.
