We will not going to be watching the latest made-in-Canada creature feature, or Stargate-Anything. Last night I watched 'Alice' on the 'SyFy' channel (why the name change? Silly.) I think it is a two-night mini-series. Has a lot of great actors in it: Kathy Bates, Matt Frewer, Tim Curry, Harry Dean Stanton. It is a re-imagining of 'Alice in Wonderland', with a healthy dose of social commentary thrown in (not unlike the original). The characters are identifiable (Tweedledee and pal, The Dormouse, et al) but not one-for-one recreations.

Anybody else see it? I was impressed with the cast and production. Looking forward to tonight's conclusion.
