Two stations I could not get so it's just not worth it.
My fault though, I thought Internet Radio meant internet radio.
I couldn't get Radio Paradise or WEMU 89.1 FM
if interested here's a link to WEMU

it's a college station, Eastern Michigan University

Pretty sure we're in Reciva's directory (the one C.Crane uses).

Best standalone Internet radio these days  — & much more —  is Amazon Echo.

the sound was decent enough for what I would have used it for, drifting off to sleep.
all things considered (set-up), it worked okay

I guess before you ordered, you could have joined Receiva ... they won't show you what they have without an account.

And maybe it would have been a simple thing to get RP added. Not sure. But thanks for investigating!

Note: The CC Wifi uses Reciva technology. C. Crane has no control over content or the provider for internet radios.

15 bucks for any game?
I'm there, I would listen to Tiger games from the other team's broadcast
I liked that with XM,  get a lot of different info on everything from around the leagues

I guess it's $20 now. It's free with the MLBtv subscription so I wasn't aware they'd upped it.

The MLB app costs $15 I think and allows live radio streaming of any game. Very much worth it.

I looked it up, thanks
I'm only going to use it in my bedroom, I always like to have baseball on the radio when I turn in
not because it's boring but because it gives me peace of mind
after sundown I can pick up Cubs, Cardinals, Reds, Tribe
but I doubt that I'll be able to listen to baseball streaming since MLB doesn't allow it
We moved in 2015 and where we live now is in nowheresville and nothing but church, talk and bro-country
I can pick up the PBS station out of East Lansing but it's classical music and I have been listening to that  and even picked up on a few things

funny coincidence the first one was an AM station out of Detroit, I'm sure you picked it across the lake WJR AM 760
I can pick up WTAM AM 1100 out of Cleveland at night, I listen to the Tribe sometimes
I'm hoping I can get RP

Nice radio there.  My wife has an Amazon Fire and uses it often, more for Facebook, YouTube, and emails.  If you have a brand new one it probably has Alexa voice commands too, so you can probably just tell it to play RP.  I got an Amazon Echo Dot for Christmas and I have it Bluetooth connected to a portable stereo speaker; it's pretty cool.

Yeah, its the most recent version with 'premium Dolby sound' and Alexa.  Sounds good period.  Got a Fire Stick at the same time that also has Alexa.  Haven't used the FS yet but it will eventually go in the TV and make the pad a remote control.  And when I really want to get jiggy, the TV has optical out to the receiver so I can go for it if I want to.  It does make the receiver optional, which is good.

I recommend their gear as well. I've used a few antennas from them and I used to have an FM repeater that made a nice internet radio cloud at my old place.

Sonos speakers are also a great way to get internet radio to random spots. WiFi is far superior to bluetooth for rebroadcasting audio for about a billion reasons.

Ha !  Yes the price did indeed come down.  Don't own the radio but I can tell you that CCrane is a good outfit, family owned and has great customer service.  You have 60 days to return it, no questions asked.

Still looking at this radio.  My present clock radio is 35 years old and its an analogue tuner so changing channels in the middle of the night is a bitch.  I've been listening to evening and overnight talk since I was a kid when I built my Remco crystal radio and listened with one of those old fashioned ear pieces.  Mine was before there was the single sided headphone.

In the meantime, I got my first tablet, an Amazon Fire HD.  Haven't really used it a whole lot yet, other than as a portable radio.  I've got RP and I ♥ Radio and some stations that I must use their webpage in order to listen.  Its pretty cool doing that.
