Bill more than likely has no control over what they do; I doubt he's thrilled about them inserting ads.

My partner has a Dot Echo that responds to Alexa commands. When asking her to play "Radio Paradise" she responds with 

"Here's Radio Paradise by Tune In"

Recently, she started inserting  an advertisement before the music stream. It runs about a minute and it's for some garbage I can't even understand. Not that I'm really listening to it. The first few times I thought she got it wrong (she also likes to play "Paradise Radio") but now she does it across the RP stream set. 

I hope Bill is getting paid for someone gloming off of his music stream.
