MsJudi wrote: I appreciate the sentiment, but I really don't like the way things went down. I didn't like the guy and we've had both public and private words many times. But part of what I like here is that we are almost always able to resolve our differences or at least share the space with moderated contempt. I like that most people have a range of opinions here beyond the normal range of labels and are able to discuss and debate topics with those that have much different views. I like that we are normally able to self police without involving Bill unless something is being sold. Even when that fails people (myself included) normally recognize their errors and dial it back to fit within the bounds and norms of our little collective. But it just wasn't happening here and it was only a matter of time until he got progressively uglier and drove off some one who deserved to be here more (because the recognized and respected the boundaries). I think RT needs help. And while I have no interest in providing it,and no interest in suffering the consequences, I do wish that he would have been able to fit within the pretty wide bounds that we have here. So while I won't shed a tear at his departure, I won't shout a cheer either.

I don't like that word. I especially don't like it thrown at women I care about.
