If anyone ever told Islander he was "belligerent", he would probably sob into his elbow, make a kite from his college diploma, and deck the nearest member of the clergy.

Buddy doesn't like to brag about this, but he once won an essay contest by defending Roy Cohn's ethics.

Which was quite an accomplishment, considering the assignment was, "explain the plot of 'Tom Sawyer' to third-graders".

Winter spends his Thursday afternoons sipping wine an spinning yarns to those who will listen down at 'the club'. Well, he did, until the other moms called the cops and they told him to stay away and that it's a playground, not a club.

If Red Dragon ever offers you some of his handmade ponytail wax, ask him if that batch is the one with the rhino mucus or the one with the sour milk he inherited from his great-uncle.

I remember buying a cheese from an old artisan whose family had been aging cheese in their basement for six generations.

It's almost enough to erase the memory of last year's "gym sock with toe funk" Christmas card from Veev.

KurtfromLaQuinta used to have a lemonade stand. For 25 cents a cup, you could experience flavors like black cherry, mango cream, "post-coital ennui", and "gut biome".

Veev would like you all to know that he is now a ninth-degree black belt.

In "paper clip sorting".

Everyone take a moment to congratulate him, or he'll explain it again.

NoEnz likes to tell people he used to stop traffic just by wearing the right pair of shorts.
