This actually is unintentionally funny and perhaps telling. The last sentence of the second paragraph says that if there were evidence that Trump had committed âserious crimesâ in the Epstein saga and prosecuted for those crimes, the author would characterize that prosecution as âweaponiz(ing) the justice system against him.â
Also, that trope has been tossed around for years. The Epstein case was still an open criminal investigation (on appeal) during Biden's term; even after Maxwell's conviction. Case files almost always remain restricted during active appeals. Opening or releasing files during an appeal period can compromise the appellate process, which reviews the lower court's decision for errors. The case was not closed until Trump took office.

Well, that didn't take as long as I thought it would. Look's like I'm right. "Hopefully" is the whole damn plan. Hopefully the enforcement forces of the oppressive regime will just hold hands with the people they've been murdering and everyone will sing kumbaya and then DEMOCRACY and peace on earth oh boy. Meanwhile, we're gonna keep bombing just to make absolutely certain of the peace. You're welcome!
