Me too!  I gave up on Kpig once they fired all my favorite DJs.  Was sad but thank goodness Bill and Rebecca pulled me through it.  So yeah my handle is a leftover in tribute to the station and K-Fat actually too  :)  Oh and Hog Ranch radio at the Strawberry festival and and................

Hi folks,

I listened to a very informative podcast about the genesis of web radio; I thought it might be of some interest for those here:

http://www.radiosurvivor.com/2018/09/25/podcast-160-marking-a-quarter-century-of-internet-radio/

The host mentions that KPIG was the first commercial radio station to stream in the US (possibly globally). I know Bill was involved at KPIG and I think had a hand in getting that stream online.

The Radio Survivor podcast is one of my favourites and is good listening for the radio geeks among us.

I went looking for the article that describes the KPIG days but haven't tracked it down. This one isn't very in-depth, but it's fun

Ah: Here's the one I haven't read in a decade. Super geeky, but you can see why I snorked at "had a hand" ...

We should have the FBI and special counsel do a thorough background check on such rumors. And have the Senate Committee on InterWebtivity serve said Goldsmith with a subpoena.

Full body cavity search! Deep and hard!
