at the top of your post are a bunch of posting options starting with Parenthesis <> on the left and a smiley face on the right. Use the one that looks like a paperclip. It will ask to insert link. On the flickr site when you use the Share option (looks like a big swooping arrow) use the BBCode for the link to drop into the RP post.
Your instructions are very clear, but something isn't working. I attempted the share and the embed code and ended up with the link text and a blank.... Coding and posting at RP are two skill sets I have long forgotten, unfortunately.
Wow, real long time no see ! from the daze of the pods !
Are you on the legacy site or the new site ? I'm not good with the new sight.
Go to the legacy site. legacy.radioparadise.com
Open a new post or respond to your own and on the top tool bar you'll see all the way to the right the HTML button. Click on it to open the editor window.
Move your cursor all the way to the bottom of all the text that appears and click to set the cursor. You may need to hit the space bar or enter a couple of times to get a clearer space to paste. Take your html embed code from flickr and paste it there. Select the medium size picture code. Don't worry about where image is going to go Once pasted hit the update button at the bottom and that should do it. Once you have hit the update button, you are returned to the regular editor and can move the image around to where you might like it. Check it out with the preview button. Then hit submit. If you don't like how it shows up in the post you can always hit the edit button and go back in and change things around a bit.

I suppose I listened to the lyrics more than I usually do because of your theme.
I can see where you are coming from with this mix. And you accomplished the retrospective effect.
Sorry for the loss of some friends. We all experience this fact.
I always liked what Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 7:2 & 4...
2- It is better to go to ahouse of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, Because that is the end of every man, And the living takes it to heart.
4-The mind of the wise is in the house of mourning, While the mind of fools is in the house of pleasure
Great job.
Thanks for your thoughts and hard work.

Sure. I put together this playlist during a quiet, reflective moment. Lost a couple of friends among other challenges. For me itâs songs that capture a bittersweet, introspective vibe.
Haunting indie folk, dreamy alternative, and soulful tunes. Hoping everyone can appreciate the effort.
Iâm All Ears â Subtly Subdued miamizsun 2025
Radical Face â The Road To Nowhere
Billie Marten - I Canât Get My Head Around You
Boy & Bear â Southern Sun
Lord Huron â Bag Of Bones
Correatown â All The World/I Tell Myself
Junip â Without You
Cross Record â High Rise
Frankel â Anonymity Is The New Fame
Greg Laswell â Dodged A Bullet
Ian Post â Passing Moments
Lisa Hannigan â Fall
Palace â Make You Proud
Pat Tierney â Golden Lover, Silver Soul
Portugal The Man â The Sun
Ra Ra Riot â Water
Skinshape â Itâs Real
Tina Dico â Someone You Love
The Red Clay Strays â Wanna Be Loved
Unkle - Farewell
A lot of these tunes Iâve never heard of before. Thanks for the awakening.
Radical Face â The Road To Nowhere. Iâve heard his âhitsâ. This one is new to me. I guess I need to look a little deeper into his catalog.
Billie Marten - I Canât Get My Head Around You. Nice voice. Never heard of her before.
Boy & Bear â Southern Sun. Iâve heard of them before. I like this one.
Lord Huron â Bag Of Bones. I know of these guys and like them a lot. I have quite a few of their songs on my playlist. Just not this one.
Correatown â All the World/ I Tell Myself. New to me. I can feel the bittersweetness in this one.
Junip â Without You. Another sad tale. I know of a few songs from them. Reminds me of Jose Gonzales.
Cross Record â High Rise. Another new one to me. Iâll give it a 7 on the Radio Paradise grading scale.
Frankel â Anonymity Is The New Fame. Never heard of these people before. They sound a lot like Camera Obscura... which is a good thing to me. With lyrics âAnd put your arms around everyone you don't want to dieâ that give us all very good advice.
Ian Post â Passing Moments. I really like the âphasingâ in this one. Gives it a nice psychedelic feel to it. âFloating in the white clouds.â
Lisa Hannigan â Fall. Sheâs new to me. More interesting lyrics... âTime will seize the captainâs wheel. A mutiny weâve come to feelâ. Nice.
Pat Tierney â Golden Lover, Silver Soul. Another nice one but havenât heard before.
Portugal The Man â The Sun. Hey! One Iâve heard before.
Ra Ra Riot â Water. Hey! Iâve got this one on my playlist. So, this is my favorite here. Technically itâs Ra Ra Riot and Rostam. Thanks for including it.
Skinshape â Itâs Real. Iâve never heard of them. But definitely worthwhile.
Tina Dico â Someone You Love. And more new. But so sad.
The Red Clay Strays â Wanna Be Loved. âAt the end of my life... I just wanna be loved... â There you go.
Unkle â Farewell. The end. Goodbye.

Havenât used my dual cassette player in years. I donât know if these tapes will still work. Maybe someday when I have some time Iâll check them out. Iâve got albums & CDâs out the wazoo that used to be organized and havenât listened to them in decades.

you should try and "modernize" onto a CD and submit it to the club!

Isn't about time you told us what going on here?
My September issue is about done and I don't want to mail it out before you get your reasons posted.
And we can write our reviews.
